This is a Yamaha U3 X 52" Upright Piano in absolutely perfect condition. You could not tell it from one sitting in the showroom. It includes a deluxe adjustable bench, also in perfect condition. You will be amazed at how beautiful this piano is!! Serial Number 3215034

The X is the next step above the standard U3. It is known for its incredible sound. The sound is far better than a baby grand and is considered comparable to a large grand piano. The U3 X is a 52" upright, as is the standard U3, however the additional enhancements of the U3 X makes it an absolutely amazing piano.

The X series is mostly recognized from the X bracing on the back of the piano. However, this is by no means the only difference. All the UX series pianos are manufactured using higher grade materials than the standard U series pianos. Externally the X series all have the famous X bracing on the back, adding more strength to the construction of the piano. The front panel is vented to allow more sound from the front of the instrument.

Internally the bass strings are longer on the X models than the standard U model pianos, even though the pianos are the same in height. Yamaha has achieved this by curving the bridge at the bottom of the piano. Higher grade wood and felt are used on hammers and dampers on all X models.

We bought the piano several years ago because our daughter started taking piano lessons. She did not stick with it, and now it is time for someone else to enjoy it. It was tuned regularly. The piano is absolutely perfect, new condition. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the piano. There is nothing that needs to be done to the piano. Enjoy it from the time you get it home.

The piano is on the first floor of our home. We have double doors on the front of the house, so it is as easy as it gets for moving.
